SUI DHAAGA

My passion for designing has grown tremendously over the years and I love seeing how excited my fashionista’s get when they put on their custom B Chic piece. Many women internationally were not able to place orders, so I knew I had to create some special pieces for the website! A few pieces turned into a whole line, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Each piece for the website has been done in a striking, globally popular Indian hand needlework forms, done by our talented karigars in India. Although I design, the karigars are talented individuals who breathe life into these designs, infusing the traditional element into modern designer garments when directed right.

A traditional lengha paired with a long flared raw silk top adding a fun twist to this otherwise Rajasthani look.

In this traditional shoot, we wanted to credit and show an inside on their life, and on all the hard work that goes into making the BCHIC garments. There is the classic purple sharara, a traditional lengha paired with a long flared raw silk top adding a fun twist to this otherwise Rajasthani look. Our most favorite is the pairing of the velvet lengha with the fully embroidered pink blouse with wide open loose sleeves! All in all it is all about the construction on these fun garments. Their handiwork could be the perfect solution to creating lenghas and suits that skillfully combine traditional design elements with new. After all, garment making is all about creativity, talent and some human touch. India is home to 7 million artisans, thousands of ambitious artisans who have century’s old skills that make it possible for us to create.
